"In a nutshell they start monitoring races on Betfair
about 6 mins before the off," he says.
"Then with a minute or so to go they look again and if
there is a SPRINGER (horse with lowering odds) they
back it to place. To be honest it seems to work but
they do look at very low odds, i.e. around the 1.5
(below evens)."
