Today's Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle...

'In which Charlie gets angry about how biz opp seekers are treated... uncovers a web of hypocrisy... spies a glimmer of hope
on TV... and reveals the book that inspires him.'

Hi,

Not so long ago, ambitious biz opp types like you and I were seen as 'junk mail' outcasts.

Greed merchants. Desperados. Or fringe loonies.

We were the ones "fooling ourselves", and others, into believing that we could make hundreds of thousands of pounds from home.

And many people mocked us for it. Or worse, tried to close down the businesses that were selling us these ideas.

So big corporations were allowed to tear up the world for money, build sweatshops, unfairly influence governments, sack workers, and employ mega-bucks advertising agencies to deceive and manipulate millions of people...

But heaven help you if you just wanted to make a few quid from home.

Leave the rat race? Work for yourself? Sit at the top of the pyramid instead of the bottom? Become something other than a tax slave to big business and the government?

These are the ideas of CRIMINALS, surely?

This is why so many pioneers in the biz opp world have been criticized, hunted down and 'exposed' in Money Mail and other righteous newspaper supplements.

Biz opp promoters are easy targets. They've no teams of lawyers. No contacts in the mainstream media. No international credibility.

Yes, there are scamsters around... but they exist in EVERY area of life.

Think back to the Enron scandal. Behind the suits and limos, it was basically a pyramid scheme.

Paper money was pushed around by dodgy accountants to create a false idea of profits... and make a few people mega-rich. Then it collapsed, and the rest is history.

So why don't people now assume that ALL energy corporations are crooked?

Or ask yourself this...

Why do some direct mail promotions get hammered for "exaggerating claims"... when burger ads on TV show people eating enormous, fresh burgers that you NEVER get served in their restaurants?

And why is 'junk mail' bad for encouraging adults to believe they can get rich...when corporations are okay to lure kids into 'junk-food' restaurants with cheap toys... or encourage mums to believe that sugar-coated, carb-loaded cereals are healthy for their kids... just because there's Omega3 added to it?

I'll tell you why...

The people with influence, money and power can constantly grow their influence, money and power.

The rest of us are supposed to shut up and put up.

The hypocrisy makes me angry

For years, we've been made to feel guilty because we want to take the tiniest little slice of the capitalist pie. We're supposed to work for the man and be grateful.

But now things are changing...

It seems that you and I are back in vogue!

For instance, have you checked out what's on telly at the moment? The idea of stepping out on your own and making huge amounts of money has hit the mainstream!

You've got hit show, Dragon's Den on BBC2 with its roll call of inventors and entrepreneurs all pitching for investment.

Then you've got 'Risking it All' on Channel 4, where each week they follow people who are setting up their own small businesses.

And you've got Sarah Beeny on a new Channel 4 show were people gamble your life savings on overseas property deals in an attempt to pay off their mortgage in one year.

I don't see these programmes being mocked and scorned. In fact, people LOVE them. And I sense that there's much more to come.

Because let's face it. Can we be sure of a pension in the future? Can we trust the economy to look after us? Can we keep up with rising hour prices?

Can we really get rich from the stock market?

My feeling is that there's going to be an explosion in people trying to make money for themselves in the coming years.

Hopefully you and I will have a head start.

The funny thing is, the concept at the heart of the Sarah Beeny show... is actually the same concept at the heart of a business opportunity classic...

Think Like A Tycoon

Yes, I'm talking about 'Think Like A Tycoon: How to Make a Million in Three Years or Less' by William G. Hill.

This is the kind of book that people get embarrassed about reading on a train. But perhaps the new vogue for making money will put and end to that.

Good. Because I believe 'Think Like a Tycoon' is a kind of biz opp bible. An inspiration for anyone who wants to get rich.

I don't know a single successful entrepreneur who hasn't read it, whether they're into trading, home publishing, marketing or any type of business.

On the surface, it's about making a series of clever property deals. But you don't need to be into property to get something out of the book.

In fact, the subject matter is possibly less important than the ideas, tips and advice.

The book is about ignoring those who criticise you for wanting to get rich... it's about the kind of business you should go into, and those you should avoid... it's about growing your money... dealing with banks... spotting scams... selling ideas and thinking like a successful entrepreneur.

And yes, it's got all the great stuff about 'no money down' property deals - everything you need to develop a million property portfolio in 3 years...
from virtually nothing.

As a Central Londoner swamped by high house prices, I've never gone into the property game myself... and yet I've read this book, cover to cover, at least THREE TIMES.

That's because everything you need to know about getting into the mindset to make a lot of money is right here.

The hardcore Biz Opp Junglers among you might remember my first ever biz opp jungle email on the 3rd of May: "have you heard of the red ribbon rule".

In my very first paragraph I talked about this book.

That's how important I think it is.

Read it and see!

It would be good if everyone I wrote to could read this book. This way, we could dispense with a lot of the basics and go straight to a higher level.

You might be able to tell from my angry rant at the beginning of this letter that I've just read 'Think Like A Tycoon' again.

It made me proud to be involved with independent, ambitious people who want to rebel against a boring, wage-slave existence. And angry that we're still made to feel like crooks or fools, just because we have the guts to try and succeed.

I'm madly passionate about this book. So if you haven't already, then READ IT! And then READ IT AGAIN!

There's really no excuse. The publisher will let you take the book for THREE YEARS and give you a full refund if you're not 100% happy with it.

The Biz Opp Jungle

PS: There's another great book that I read over and over again and I've got a copy to give away for free. I'll put it in Sunday's issue of the Biz Opp Jungle, so look out for that.
