Today's Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle:

'In which Charlie discovers how to make £20K in a few weeks from a website you own for a few quid, but do NOTHING to, no writing or marketing necessary... or even hit a £560,000 jackpot while
sitting on your backside.'

Hi

Without the Internet for a few weeks, I've had to try an old fashioned approach to research.

That is, read all the newspapers instead. See what's new. Look through the classified pages. Discover
what's being advertised.

You know what? It's been fun.

For instance last weekend, I read an amazing article in The Observer. It was so mind-blowing, I immediately tore it out, and pinned it to the wall in my new office.

If I'd had the internet, as promised (see last Wednesday's email for horrific details!) then I'd have gone online and tried experimenting immediately.

Without a doubt, this is something I am going to look deeper into this year.

Not only should you know about this - believe me, you could hit a £20,000 goldmine in a couple of weeks - but you should get into it as soon as possible.

As you'll see, a couple of minutes, a bit of luck, and it could be like winning the lottery.

How to make a fortune from domain names

The Observer article was about a guy called Neil Stanley. He trades domain names ('.com's or .co.uk's) for massive profits.

Recently, he bought a domain name for a few quid and sold it for $40,000 a few weeks later.

That's roughly £20,000 profit.

You don't have to do anything to make this money either. You simply need to buy the domain name and trade it in a specialist trading website such as 'whois.sc'.

The site will tell you whether a name has already been taken. They'll suggest similar alternatives you could also buy, or put you in contact with the owner of the name, so you could buy it off him or her at a price.

Neil Stanley then uses a technique called 'parking'.

This is where you leave your domain name to be looked after by another specialist website, who put up adverts on this site for you.

Every time someone visits the site and clicks on the advert, you get half of the revenue.
Stanley says:

"It's amazing how many people go to the address bat and type in a generic name instead of going to Google. If you've got mortgages.co.uk, you've got a licence to prince money."

He also points out that the UK hasn't woken up to this yet. The scope for anyone - that includes YOU - to come along and scoop up some profitable 'co.uk's is enormous.

The beginning of an online "gold rush"

Best of all you can do this with no expertise, no copywriting skill, no marketing talent, and barely any investment costs.

All you need is an eye for a good domain name. Stanley says:

"I registered noworryloans.co.uk last autumn and it probably earns £10 a week on its own."

While a tenner doesn't sound much, imagine if you have ten good website names doing this each week.
That's £400 income each month for sitting on your backside.

And sometimes, you could hit the jackpot.

For example, last month, the domain name 'cruises.co.uk' was sold for £560,000. And in the US, the domain name 'vodka' is worth $3 million.

It's becoming big business for those who get in quick. An American entrepreneur called Kevin Ham now has a portfolio of 300,000 domains, earning him a cool $70m a year.

As I read the Observer article, I thought, "Wow, this is a nice little speculative opp on its own... but I reckon I could make this even MORE profitable."

How?

Aha....

Turn this no-brainer into a proper home business

I had two great ideas I'm happy to share with you. (If you beat me to it, fair enough, I don't really mind, as there's infinite scope for this.)

First, you don't just need to hit on generic domain names. If a company has brought out a product or service and is marketing it widely, then you should buy that domain name.

It may be niche, but you'll be riding the back of their advertising.

If they've only got it in '.com' but they advertise in the UK, then buy the UK site if possible. Or, for example, if a new fruit is announced in the press as the latest "superfood" then see if the domain name is available.

If a new type of drink, hobby, slogan or idea emerges, get in quick and buy the domain name. If something major happens in the financial news, try and buy a domain name that people may type into their browser for more information.

This way, you can ambulance-chase all the latest products, trends and crazes, trying to hit on that website where thousands of people will visit, earning you an easy passive income.

My second idea is to use this to build a list.

How to generate your own mega-profitable list

As you know, a good list is the holy grail of most online marketing biz opps.

With a good list of previous customers, or email subscribers, you can sell your own products, launch instantly successful email newsletters, grow a huge down-line, make MLMs actually work for you (list holders make the big cash from these things, not individuals), drive traffic to any website, and make good money from affiliate selling.

Using Neil Stanley's domain name strategy, you could build up a massive list of customers.

For instance, say you were the first to register 'noworryloans.co.uk'. Yes, you could simply "park" it and get commission from a bunch of ads that someone places on it.

Or you could do better than that...

On the webpage, instead of the ads, promise the visitor "Free information on getting out of debt" that they can sign up for by entering their email address.

You then send them an email or two every week with some basic money saving information and tips. The more that sign up, the more people you can send info to.

Hey, presto, you now have a growing list of qualified customers, and even your own newsletter.

You can now promote related products to them, drive them to a variety of websites (either your own, or other people's on a commission basis) and make almost ANY online marketing biz opp work wonders.

If you want to know exactly how to do this, check out the book I wrote on using emails to generate a second income from home:

With the domain name strategy I've shown you today, you could easily make this type of email home business work. It's a matter of finding the right domain names.

They're out there, you just have to look for them, and snap 'em up when you see 'em!

The race is on - I'm on the hunt for my golden tickets!
