Who else wants to make money from domain names?
Today’s Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle:
‘In which Charlie sees a tasty proposition in the domain name business, revisits the guy who turned a few quid into £20K with ONE domain name, and reviews the Domain Profit Guide.’
Hi,
Aside from Forex, this has to be the most asked about business opportunity of recent months...
When I wrote about making money from domain names at the end of March, I didn‘t expect such a flood of inquiries.
But then why was I surprised?
I’ll admit, it’s a really tasty proposition.
This is a chance to get in on a major internet gold rush and make a bit of extra cash by sitting on your behind.
Really, this is a simple matter of “getting in early”
Leave this domain name lark for 6 months or more and you’ll probably miss out on the big easy profits.
People are only just catching on, so it’s now or never.
This enterprise definitely doesn’t require any special skills or effort (and that’s rare, despite what all the flashy brochures say!)
All you do is buy a website address with a “.com”, “.co.uk” “.org” or “/net” and then do two things with it:
· “Park it” so that it brings you commissioned based advertising revenue – without you having to do a single thing.
· Or trade it, so that it brings you an instant cash profit.
What you do need to do if you’re going to make this work, however, is follow a specific strategy.
Otherwise, picking any domain name and hoping it will bring you megabucks is like buying a ticket for the lottery.
Yes, you could make a chunk of cash, but you could also waste your time.
So if you want to turn this into a decent part time cash earner, you need this....the only decent report I’ve seen on the matter.
It tells you EXACTLY how to make money from domain names. Take a look:
If you’re bewildered right now and have no clue to what I’m banging on about, let me recap.
The guy who turned a few quid into £20K with a domain name
Back in March I read a newspaper article about a guy called Neil Stanley. He trades domain names (web addresses that end with things like '.com' or ‘.co.uk’) for huge profits.
The article revealed that he’d just bought a domain name for a few quid and sold it for $40,000 a few weeks later.
That's roughly £20,000 profit.
He didn't have to do anything to make this money. He bought the domain name online... and traded it online.... then took the profit.
Mr Stanley also bought domain names for which he used a technique called 'parking'.
This is where you leave your domain name to be looked after by another specialist website, who put up adverts on this site for you. Every time someone visits the site and clicks on the advert, you get half of the revenue.
Stanley said:
"It's amazing how many people go to the address bat and type in a generic name instead of going to Google. If you've got mortgages.co.uk, you've got a licence to prince money."
He also points out that the UK hasn't woken up to this yet. The scope for anyone - that includes YOU - to come along and scoop up some profitable 'co.uk's is enormous.
The beginning of an online "gold rush"
Best of all you can do this with no expertise, no copywriting skill, no marketing talent, and barely any investment costs.
All you need is an eye for a good domain name. Stanley says:
"I registered noworryloans.co.uk last autumn and it probably earns £10 a week on its own."
While a tenner doesn't sound much, imagine if you have ten good website names doing this each week.
That's £400 income each month for sitting on your backside.
And sometimes, you could hit the jackpot.
For example, last month, the domain name 'cruises.co.uk' was sold for £560,000. And in the US, the domain name 'vodka' is worth $3 million.
It's becoming big business for those who get in quick. An American entrepreneur called Kevin Ham now has a portfolio of 300,000 domains, earning him a cool $70m a year.
Okay, so that’s the business.
But like I say, it’s not a matter of hit and hope. If you’re panning for gold, you need to go to the streams where other gold prospectors are heading. No point in sticking a pin on the map.
Same with this particular gold rush.
