What this kitchen table entrepreneur can teach you

Today's Adventure in The Biz Opp Jungle:

'In which Charlie recounts his mad final hours, reveals what Doug Savage, "the Kitchen Table entrepreneur" can teach you.... And reveals a list of THE BEST BIZ OPPS EVER.'
Hi,
It's the final week before the new baby's due..
And Yours Truly is getting a bit manic...
The dog has some kind of vomiting bug. My daughter wakes at about 1am, then again at about 4:30am. The dog then needs let out at 6am or he'll go to the toilet all over my kitchen floor. My wife is losing the will to move and demands a constant supply of food and tea.
When I feel awake enough, I spend long hours in the office hammering away at my PC, developing my Project X business (if you're a Priority member, look out for an email on that VERY soon).
I've also just finished editing a new health book which I'm going to market to UK newsletters and in the newspapers later in the next few months.
And when I'm feeling too bleary and grumpy to work, I've been creating a psychedelic music mix on some computer software I've been learning to use... it's now a noisy 75 minute odyssey, and sounds as weird as the voices in my head.
Oh, and I'm ALSO learning how to spin plates. As I type this email I've got five plates spinning on poles in various parts of the house. I type a few words... run to a room.... spin a plate... then come back again.
It's a doddle.
Hey, thinking about it. Maybe this explains the problems my readers have been having with Five One Publishing...

Is The Kitchen Entrepreneur too busy?
Perhaps this is what Doug Savage's world is like. ...
Perhaps he has a trillion tasks on the go.
Perhaps he not only has to run his My Junk Mail Secret and Kitchen Table Entrepreneur products... but he also has to look after 5 children... write a novel... invent a new type of fuel... and knit the world's largest cardigan...
I don't know. Because I don't actually know Doug Savage.
But... it seems that while he's happy to have his products sold to thousands of UK biz opp seekers, he doesn't have the time to deal to respond to refunds requests and complaints....
One of my readers says:
"Please warn your readers about a chap named Doug Savage and his 'Kitchen Table Entrepreneur'. I was caught by him earlier last year when he sent me details of "My Junk Mail Secret" which had a guaranteed refund policy 'so he said'.
After purchasing it and being chased for more cash to upgrade it, I asked for a refund which I did not receive. I e-mailed him and sent a recorded delivery letter, but no luck. I received his latest as mentioned above and upon receipt of his sales letter referred him to his previous Junk Mail Secret, but no response."
It's a shame, because another reader has a really GOOD experience with Mr Savage.... at the beginning anyway....
He writes:
"It was my first venture into the internet biz opp world. In all fairness it was very interesting and for me a massive learning curve - dropped in really. So many terms I had never ever heard of before.
He did contact me and we had maybe three training conversations and he was very helpful giving me clear tasks and objectives to aim for and then a week later we'd continue.
However the fault, if you can call it that, is that I was overloaded with work at College where I teach and had to put it on hold. I did email him later for advice; but nothing. Line went dead!"
Hmm... looks like Doug was too busy again.
So bearing all this in mind...
What can the kitchen table entrepreneur teach YOU?
Well, I think he can teach you the following:
* If you've released a product, but you're too busy to deal with all your customers, either hire extra help for the phones, or limit the membership.
* If you're going to buy one of Doug Savage's products, beware that while the manual may be interesting and useful, you may not get a response if you become a difficult customer and want your cash back.
* And if you're in doubt about a refund policy, just try something else instead.
If you really want to get your teeth into something in January, read on...
Revealed... the BEST biz opps!
On the 1st of January I revealed the most popular biz opps of 2009: PowerSeller Secrets (eBay opportunity), Tenkei (trading programme) and Little Acorns (betting system). If you didn't see that issue, it's up on my site at http://www.bizoppjungle.com - see 'The Top 3 Biz Opps of 2009'.
Since then I've had a deluge of emails asking the following question:
"Okay, so those are the most popular... but what are the BEST biz opps?"
Well, that's the big question I'm always asked. And it's almost impossible to answer. It's difficult because different people have different levels, interests and abilities. Some opportunities work for some people and not for others.
But since I'm asked so often, I'll bite the bullet and give you my PERSONAL opinion. Other than the three opps which I mentioned on the 1st January, I recommend that you also check out the following:
1. If you like to buy and sell producs for profit... try Sold Dispatch Now Gold, see this past issue for more details:
2. If you're interested in internet marketing.... try 30K a Day, see this past issue of the Biz Opp Jungle for more:
3. If you're interested in horse racing... try Legacy and Saver. See my review of ADK publishing's new and improved version here
4. If you fancy your hand at home trading, try ATM FX - this is a really low price FX system by the expert behind Ultimate Forex Predictor. Check out the review here
5. If you don't know what you want yet, try What Really Makes Money, see my original review here
Now this by no means is a complete list of good biz opps. And it's not the Gospel According to Charlie Wright. But it's a place to start if you're still wandering blindly through the jungle.
I'll write with more at the weekend... If I'm not in Homerton hospital, listening to the screams, drinking whisky from a hipflask and head-butting the Machine That Goes Ping.
Later alligator
