Today's Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle:

'In which Charlie reveals the secret of home business success... exposes the scoundrels who steal and run... and puts AD Associates in the spotlight of shame'.

Hi,

In the business opportunity world you have to try a lot of different products.

Part of the game, I'm afraid.

You can't expect the first opportunity you try to work out for you. There's no such thing as a level playing field. We all have different skills, personalities, likes and dislikes. We live in different environments.

And so biz opps work in different ways for different people. One system can make money for one person and not for another.

Not just that, but in ANY business, things don't always work forever at the same level and pitch.

For example, look at the peaks and troughs of Marks and Spencer's business model.

The truth is, trends change.

For instance, a betting system can work brilliantly for six months, then go through a slump. The same goes for trading and investing.

One person can make £15,000 in six months on eBay. Another other person may find themselves with only a couple of grand.

They may have bought the exact same
opportunity... but there are other variables like choice of product, luck, or the latest trends.

So people get different results.

**************************
This doesn't mean that the
product is bad, or a scam.
***************************

Most 'gurus' won't tell you this, because they want to pretend everything in business is certain and scientific (if you follow THEM!)... but there's an element of luck and patience in getting something to work.

As the presenter of " Dragon's Den" and the BBC's economics editor said yesterday:

"Unpredictability is what makes entrepreneurship an interesting challenge - it is not an exact science to create a successful company, and life would be duller if it was."

The people who make money in this game accept this and keep trying new things. They stick at it.
They use their guts, desire and determination.

They don't take their ball home and sulk after the first few hiccups.

So what really winds me up is when people like you - genuine seekers who try new biz opps - are forced to LOSE MONEY...

...Just because certain scoundrels won't return your money as promised!

It's a cancer that eats away at the already-difficult reputation of the biz opp world.

********************************
The scoundrels who ruin it for us
********************************

Any biz opp can be a good biz opp...

...even if the system doesn't work for you... even if it only gives you one decent idea or tip that comes in useful later.... and even if you, personally, think it's rubbish.

But you must be able to try it without risk. It MUST offer a money-back guarantee for at least 28 days.

And it must be unconditional.

By this I mean you shouldn't have to return spreadsheets of your results, show your trades, or prove what underpants you wore, to the vendor.

I am wary of those who don't have enough confidence in their product to offer an unconditional money-back guarantee.

Even worse at those people who offer money back guarantees, and don't honour them... who quibble, and challenge, and even insult you when you ask for your refund.

If you send it back within the time allotted... 30 days... 3 months... whatever... then you get a refund. Simple.

(TIP: You should always keep a record of when you bought and received something. Stick to the letter of the law and then they don't have a leg to stand on.)

And even worse again... (now we're getting to the scummy swamps of the biz opp jungle)... are those who offer a refund, and then disappear without a trace.

Here's one of them...

What are AD Associates playing at?
*********************************

I got this email from a reader this week. He says:

"I would just like to warn your readers about ad associates/pro-select who offer the premiership bet system.

"I purchased the system before last season in the comfort that they provide a guarantee. They state that as part of the system you need to check the sun newspaper every Tuesday and use the Glen Bevis ratings which incidentally are hardly ever printed in The Sun.

"After trying it out I found it disappointing so decided to ask for a refund."

Oh dear, here we go...

"After not hearing from them for a month after returning the product I called them, they told me a refund would take 90 days."

That's already unacceptable. But he continues:

"After the 90 days elapsed I rang AD Associates who handle the system for pro-select and take the payments. I rang a number of times and each time was told my message would be passed on to Pro- Select but I still have not heard back. I tried emailing them but no response.

"Tell your readers to stay clear of these people."

Consider it done.

That wasn't the only email, either. I've had three complaints in the last week.

So I hope that AD Associates get their act together and that this is just a customer service technological breakdown or something.

If not, this review goes on the site.
