Updates on Site Build it, Colin Davey and 30K Day
Today's Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle:
'In which Charlie turns into Jimmy Saville for the
day, reviews Site Build It, and updates 30K Day,
Inbox Tycoon and Colin Davey.'
Hi
Imagine, if you can, that I'm wearing a gold lame
tracksuit.
I'm sitting in front of a giant postbag, which is absolutely
heaving with readers' letters. And I'm twiddling a
medallion at the end of a huge chain round my neck.
Yes, you've guessed it...
This newsletter has turned into a 1979 episode of Jim'll
Fix It.
I've just "fixed it" for one of my readers to try out the
latest Forex system while on a rollercoaster eating
cream cakes.
For another reader, I fixed it so that she could slap a
scamster.
And for another lucky young man, I fixed it so that he
could tap into the bank accounts of companies who
refuse to give refunds and use their money to buy
pointless amounts of cheese.
You've just joined me as I read another letter from the
postbag...
A reader asks:
"I would like to recommend a site for review
recommended by Clickbank called Site Build It. I have
been studying the videos and text info and am very
impressed with the content, please could you review and
give me your opinion?"
Consider it done...
Now then, now then, now then
Site Build It allows you to put content on the web (your
blog, email newsletter, etc) so you can market it and
attract readers/customers. It's priced at $300 per
website per year.
Really it's aimed at the absolute novice. This is fine, but
if you've looked at any serious internet marketing
programmes before, it might seem a little fluffy and
basic.
Beware that this product won't give you that essential
business idea, product or service that will draw people to
your website. This is an important element that you'll
have to find elsewhere.
This means it won't be a one-stop shop. Andrew
Reynolds, Nick Laight, Stuart Goldsmith, Jonathan
Street, myself and other UK based internet marketers
will be better placed to offer you ideas about finding a
desirable product or service.
Because Site Build It is widely sold on a multi level
marketing basis, the internet is full of gushing comments.
And it's hard to find any negative criticism.
However, one review I've found says:
"The main website sports a design that I would date back
to the late '90s. The administrator interface is the
worst - it looks ancient (early '90s) and it's terribly ugly.
SBI's strength is in education. Someone who knows
nothing about creating and marketing a website may find
their Action Guide handy."
So this user's view is that the guide to creating a website
is handy, but the websites themselves aren't the
greatest.
Could this make you money as an MLM?
If you don't want to use Site Build It yourself, you could
become an affiliate selling this product to others.
In this case you may make some residual income. The
affiliate program offers a $75 commission per referral,
but you will need to find some creative ways to find new
sources of people who you can sign up to your affiliate
scheme.
You'll need to approach list owners or build your own list
so you can effectively sell it like through multi-level-
marketing.
This is notoriously tricky to do. But entirely possible. If
you've had any success with MLM before then you may
well have some luck with this.
Now then, now then.
Onto the next letter...
What's the difference between Inbox Tycoon and
30K Day?
A few people have emailed me about this, so it's worth
clearing up. A reader says:
"Jonathan Street's 30k Day sounds very much like the
information given in your Inbox Tycoon... and I wondered
if you could tell me what more is offered in 30k Day, for
the extra money, or is it a case of the same topic being
covered from a different angle?"
To explain this as succinctly as possible...
My Inbox Tycoon is a manual that explains exactly how
to set up an email cash generator and how this internet
business works for me, in my experience. It includes a
members' website where I post updates and you also get
my support via email.
Jonathan Street is in a similar type of email affiliate
business. However he has his own approach and
methods.
Remember that this type of email marketing is still fairly
new, so pioneers like Jonathan are constantly coming up
with their own shortcuts, styles and tweaks. In this last
couple of years there have been many products that
claim to show you the secrets of email marketing, but
most are hackneyed, heavily generalised, out-of-date
and written by people who don't really make money from
emails themselves.
In this case, Jonathan's 30K Day secret is a powerful
strategy that's very much his own. And if you subscribe
to his emails yourself, you know that he "walks the walk".
As with my Inbox Tycoon, you get a manual with the
strategy explained in full. You also get his email support
and mentoring.
But the reason Jonathan's service is pricier is that he's
added lots of tools, software and extras:
* You get a set of 10 CD disks containing videos
of Jonathan revealing the exact steps to follow
so you can copy what he does, and 'see' him in
action.
* He gives you a bunch of information products to
sell. These are worth a combined total of £147 -
they're yours to promote and take all the profits
for yourself.
* He gives you a step-by-step blueprint that shows
you how to turn these information products into
high end £297 - £1,997 courses - therefore
showing you how to create your own 'backend'.
* You get his latest e-marketing techniques
emailed to you every month for a full year in the
form of mentoring videos
* You also get some software that helps you pull
traffic (new readers) to your service.
You can still order Jonathan's £30K Day here:
30 K Day
If you want to try the Inbox Tycoon, the link is below.
However, I've just discovered there are only 15 hard
copies left. So until I sort out the next re-print, you'll have
to move quickly to get a copy:
Inbox Tycoon
Now a final letter from the Jim'll Fixit postbag
Update on Davey
This is less of a request, more of an update on
something I reviewed last year...
"I just wanted to add a bit to your review of Colin
Davey's Soverereign Group racing tips. I joined this, paid
him a lump per month by direct debit and got nothing
back. I cancelled the payment PDQ after he failed to
come up with any winners, just donkeys that my wife
could have picked, and she knows even less than him
about nags."
Consider your feedback passed on!
Now that's done, I'm going to run a marathon, smoke a
cigar, and fix it for myself NOT to be Jimmy Saville ever
again.
Later alligator
