News, this opp closes on Thursday

Today's Adventure in the Biz opp Jungle:

'In which Charlie returns from France, issues
some news about FSTE Wealth Builder and
something BRAND NEW, plus reveals why no
investment is ever safe, according to an
explosive book.'

Hi,

I won't bore you with details of my little holiday in
France.

Instead I'll give you a quick sketch:

Sun beats down on an Antibes roof top... your
correspondent on the terrace, under a shade, wine
glass in hand, reading a book about why so many top
financial forecasters and City gurus get it SO wrong...
(yes, he's in Biz Opp Jungle mode, even on
holiday)... a baby sprawls on a big rug at his feet,
shrieking at a toy banana... his wife wipes a streak
of the aforementioned baby's vomit from her
dress... reggae tunes rumble from the iPod
speakers.

So there you go. Not so bad at all.

I'm back and absolutely totally refreshed and
ready to go. I've caught up on most of my Biz Opp
Jungle
emails (if you're still waiting for a response
from me, I'm on it, I promise!)

First up today, some news...

This trading opp closes at
midnight on Thursday

Canonbury publishing have issued a missive
regarding Neil Leitch's FTSE Wealthbuilder.

Nick Laight says:

"Due to the huge popularity of Neil Leitch's FTSE
Wealthbuilder strategy we have decided to close
the doors from midnight on Thursday 30th April.
Neil has been working flat out on the support since
December and he deserves to get some of his life
back. So we have decided to temporarily close
doors to all new students. Rest assured we will be
reopening again, but it probably won't be until
September."

By the way, this doesn't affect the current
Wealthbuilder membership. The reason Neil is
closing it to new members is that he wants to offer
the best possible service to his students. Too
many students mean it's hard to answer all the
queries and questions or offer the full support
promised when you join.

So if you don't want to miss out, you need to get in
today or tomorrow. Details and reviews of Neil's
service are on my website at
www.bizoppjungle.com

Talking of trading...

Another thing that's NOT been officially
announced, but that I've heard about...

Trouble finding time to trade? This could be
right up your alley...

If you're one of those people who don't get the
time to trade in the morning, and who doesn't
have access to a PC during the day... then you
may be in for a bit of good fortune.

I've got wind of a brand new trading service that
allows you to make simple, quick trades in the
evening.

I know, it sounds amazing right?

I've lost count of how many times readers have
asked me if I know of something that would allow
them to trade when it suited them.

At the moment I'm trying to get hold of an advance
review copy so I can see if this is as easy and
convenient as it sounds.

As soon as I know more I'll get something into an
email.

Talking of which, here's something I wanted to talk
about now that I'm back...

Hey, Charlie! What in crikey happened to your
last email?

Quite a few people didn't get my email from the
15th April where I talked about where to start
looking for a home business.

I'm not sure why that happened. I've asked the
technical guys at Email Vision (the broadcasting
company I use) to look into this. One of the perils
of this technology is that people's computer
settings change, or the system goes down, or
gremlins from space chew on the cyberwires.

(I'm not sure that last example is technically true).

Anyhow, not to worry... please, DO NOT PANIC.

Rest assured, I always put up my Biz Opp Jungle
emails on my website within 1-3 days of them
being broadcast.

So if anything weird happens, like you get a blank
email or no email turns up at all, then please
check my website. You'll see all the latest issues,
news and reviews up there within a day or two.

Simply go to:

There's recent stuff up there now, including
reviews on Auction Kommando, Chris Cobb, FAB
Turbo, 30K in a Day, Minimum Wage Millionaire
and Utility Warehouse.

Can anyone predict the unpredictable?

The book I was reading on holiday, by the way, is
called The Black Swan by Nassim Nicholas
Taleb, an ex-trader.

It's packed with lots of stuff about statistics and
probability – but even for a maths thicko like me,
it's really readable.

He explains that, yes, financial experts get it right
most of the time. But what happens when
something unpredictable occurs?

Society is regularly capsized by unexpected
improbable events that nobody predicts. Like 911,
the recent banking crash, or the outbreak of swine
flu.

(For instance, anyone holding airline stocks got a
right shock this week when potential international
travel restrictions were announced.)

It's only AFTER these weird events happen do we
join the dots and come up with post hoc reasons
why these events were 'inevitable'.

Only then do the "experts" and journalists all agree
that it was obviously, "bound to happen", and that
we should have seen it coming.

Of course, nobody sees these things coming.
Otherwise we wouldn't be in meltdown right now.

Why a bit of risk taking can be as safe as
listening to your banker

In view of this, Taleb claims that there's no such
thing as a safe investment. Even those cosy "no
risk" pension fund and bank accounts can be
wiped out by a sudden burst of the unexpected.

His recommendation is that it's better to take
occasional LARGER risks and see it AS risk than
to think your money is safely growing in your
pension fund.

"Safe" can sometimes mean disaster... and often a
risky punt can mean huge gains if you've bet
things going wrong.

The most cautious and sensible thing, in his view,
is to expect the unexpected. Spread your money
across as many different investment types as
possible - high risk and low risk, long term and
short term - and ignore what your friendly banker
says, or those cock-sure forecasts you read in the
papers. In other words... do it yourself.

Anyway, it's on Amazon if you fancy picking up a
copy and depressing the hell out of yourself.

I'll be back with cheerier fayre on Sunday.

Later alligator
