Well, a lot of people ask me what the secret of starting a home business is. And I always answer. There's no secret. It's about sitting down, going through some options, and giving them a go.
You have to get out there and try things for yourself. Put them to the test, have a play around and see how they suit. They don't work for everyone, but some people DO MAKE MONEY.
I've seen it with my own eyes .
And make no mistake. My own path was rocky and weird, and I'm still on it, travelling along.
Essentially, I learned how to create sales letters, market books, generate money from emails, and ghost-write 'how to articles', booklets and stuff like that. It took years.
I've used bits of almost every publishing, copywriting and online biz opp you can think of. Stealing bits, adapting bits, doing what I'm good at and ditching the bits I'm bad at.
I'm a veritable Frankenstein's monster of 'how to' manuals, courses, books and websites.
My ultimate tip?
Choose your own path. Try lots of different things to see what you're good at. Build up knowledge. Educate yourself. Follow the formulas and templates as far as they will take you. Be prepared to change your mind and adapt until you hit on the big one.
However, there's one thing you MUST be prepared to do...
Sacrifice 30 minutes
Forget the gurus. Take at least 30 minutes every evening, a day of each weekend, whatever you can spare... but put in the time!
There could be a little part-time home business out there now with YOUR name on it. Something to pay the bills, ease those financial burdens... even a way to get out of the 9-5, eventually.
But you have to get on the road and start walking. If you don't try these things, you'll never know.

Making money is not an exact science
So I'd forget about achieving those "Instant £20,000 per week" figures that scream out from the sales pitches you see.
While alluring and exciting, they're not realistic.
It doesn't mean the opportunity itself is bad, or that you shouldn't stick at it. What your aim should be is to find a sure-fire method that you can make bit of money on the side. Something you enjoy and that you can do repeatedly.
A hundred quid here... another guaranteed hundred there... and quickly your life should improve. Pay off a few debts, buy a new car, take a holiday.
If you aim for these small goals first, you have big things ahead of you.
See, if you can make just a little bit of money from Forex trading, Ebay selling, websites, e-letters, bookselling, then ANYTHING becomes possible.
Work on the strategy, adapt it, combine it with other opps, and you could easily create multiple income streams that boost your bank balance by up to £1,000- £3,000 every month...
As you can imagine, it's not a far hop from here to true financial independence.
Find something that really works and you can even SELL your experiences, skills and formulas to other people. That's where the really big money comes in.
