Is this the perfect home business match for you?
Today’s Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle
‘In which Charlie reveals two insights from Biz Opp Jungle readers, including how to find the perfect home business match and overcome the obstacles that stop you from making money.’
Hi
There was an overwhelming response to last Wednesday’s Biz Opp Jungle.
Tim Bazley’ email – which I reprinted in full – really struck a chord.
Many Junglers were inspired to offer up their own tips and experiences. I thought I’d pass on a couple of the best in today’s issue.
In my view, it’s really important to know what other people are up to. Yes, you can go on forums, but it’s often an intimidating experience. The negative ranters (gawd bless ‘em) can tend to dominate. It’s not always easy to find positive, step by step advice.
So instead, perhaps you can heed the great advice of this Biz Opp Jungle regular...
Avoiding Headless Chicken Syndrome
He writes:
“I have just read the latest edition of the Biz Opp Jungle and I would wholeheartedly endorse what Tim wrote regarding Biz Opps.
I would just like to make a couple of other points if I may.
I think that everyone who is trying to find a biz opp needs to buy a few products to get a feel for what they may enjoy doing.
When you decide you want to set up your own business you do tend to get very enthused by the idea and even visiting hell and having a coffee with the devil every day to collect £100 seems appealing.
However it is only when you sit down and put into practice what you have just purchased that you realise this may not be what you want to do for the rest of your life or even for a week of it.
The point I am trying to make here is biz opp seekers should not beat themselves up too much by thinking they have wasted money on an opportunity and not followed it through to completion: this is part of the learning curve.
However when you do decide which opportunity is right for you give all you can to it and make it work for you, do not run from opp to opp like a headless chicken or you will not succeed at anything.”

Another reader, Camael Khan goes into even more detail about a way to match yourself to the perfect home business....
How to Find a Perfect Home Business Match
“I'm a long time biz opp seeker who's bought many products over the years but not been able to make any money from them as yet. I think that opportunities are everywhere that you can make a success of, however, they need to be a good match for you.
Since developing a 'going forward strategy' in 2010 I've now made more progress and am very close to making my first money online.
Here are more details about my 'going forward strategy':
1. Business Match
The first breakthrough idea I had was that any biz opp that I was considering had to me a match for me. That is, the work involved to get the business up & running had to be something I liked doing and was on a (technical) level that I could understand and carry out.
It also means that if the said guru is teaching me how to write an ebook, for example, and I really don't like writing & researching like this then this is clearly not a match for me.
2. Action & Distraction.
My second breakthrough idea was to take action with any biz opp I bought otherwise I was completely wasting my time. This involves giving myself a weekly update and then either driving forward with the plan or seeking help/advice if there was a problem.
Whilst reviewing my progress, I often found times when I was very unproductive. Looking at the causes I found that I was spending too much of my worktime reading emails. So this was the Distraction part and I had to find ways of solving this issue.
The solution was to delete the subscription to any email list that was not directly helping me in my business venture.
3. Keep Moving Forward
My third breakthrough idea was that once a product has been bought to keep going moving forward with it. So the first priority is to go through it within 30 days to see if I understand it and can do it. If not, I return for a prompt refund. If I can't get through it in 30 days then it is either too complicated or time consuming for me and I again ask for a refund.
However, if I've decided to keep it ... then I gothrough it a second time but with a BIG difference. This time I take action and actually implement each step.
4. Information Overload & Speed of Results:
My final breakthrough idea was that once I was happy with the product, been through it once and didn't want a refund then I shouldn't worry about the amount of information that I was presented with.
It also made sense to me that whilst implementing this information not to worry about how quickly money would come pouring in, because I would also be on a learning curve and everyone is different when taking in new information.
The most important factor was to get a good end result. A good result could be anything like gaining experience, making a good contact, building your first website or making money.
Preferably, as many as these as possible.
So to recap with my current project which involves building a website and providing a service:
A. This business was a match for me because I could see that building a website using Wordpress was quite easy. I also like looking at numbers (website stats) and being able to say precisely 'Yes' o r 'No' as to whether I could sell my service.
B. What drives me to action with this biz opp is simply that I like the idea, have fun setting it up and look forward to some money coming in later.
I've also cut down on watching tv and deleted useless emails to remove any distraction from me becoming a success.
C. I keep moving forward with this biz opp because as well as developing myself, I can see results as I move along and get ever closer to the finishing line.
D. Even though I might have 10 hours of dvds to watch. It's not 'information overload' - just useful step-by-step 'information to load'!”
