Today's Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle:

'In which Charlie is impressed by the Day Job Killer... and
even Traffic secrets... so is Mr Angry Sceptic going
SOFT or WHAT?'

Hi,

Some business opportunity "gurus" love to peddle their own stuff relentlessly.

They don't comment on what's going on in the wider biz opp universe... all those products from lesser-known regions of the Jungle.

If it isn't going to make them an immediate profit... or if they don't want to advertise their rivals... they ignore it.

Others do the opposite. They try to sell EVERYTHING they come across, regardless of quality, assuring you:

"It's great, it's the best thing I've seen all year... well at least the best thing since last week when I also recommended the best thing ever... I even bought one for my granny and my dog, too. Erm, BUY NOW".

Cheers, Sir.

Shall I call you 'Guru' or 'Gnu'?

Not much help for you as a seeker, is it?

This is why I try to cover as many publishing companies and products as I can. This is a slow process, since it's me and me alone who has to read, think and write about them.

Occasionally, I just SHOUT OUT what I think from reading a promotion, based on my years of experience.

I can usually tell, even before a biz opp arrives at my door, if there's a catch.

Usually: no guarantee....

...No company details.

...Impossible promises.

Yes, I can spot all those old copywriting tricks. Blimey, I've even used them myself in the past!

I've been accused at times of being flippant, angry... quick to ridicule and mock stuff I come across.

Ah, well. That's me to a "T". Sorry folks.

I usually tell these moaners to go and read some pampering, compromised, self-promoting advice service that's too scared of upsetting other biz opp Big-Wigs to tell the TRUTH.

But I'll let you in on a secret. All of the complainers are actually the businesses I criticise.

Surprise, surprise!

It's my job to be Mr Sceptic
****************************

Fact is, there's a LOT of good stuff, and a LOT of tosh about. I like to be cynical on your behalf to weed out the great from the awful.

I slate, slag and bash a lot of the time. As is my right to free speech.

I know for sure that there are plenty of exciting opportunities and high quality blueprints, reports and courses, if you can find them.

But the Jungle is also full of chancers. Fly-by-nights Looking to re-hash old news. Lying through their teeth. Welching on their promises.

Today, though, I feel like I've gone soft.

I've found two products from US publishers that I thought "Hmmm, argh, um, I dunno, this sounds like old hat, get ready to grumble"... at first...

But then got into them and realised that they're actually pretty good.

First up....

Day Job Killer
***********

This is a no-nonsense information product that tells you how to how to profit by combining AdSense and Adwords.

It's relevant to the present time and reveals how to get round the various bits of Google legislation...

As they put it: "doing something that Google really don't like (so you know it has to be damn profitable)".

The report is $97. I read it this morning and it's full of really useful internet marketing information.

For instance...

** They reveal most powerful Adwords techniques on the planet; the ones the top 1% use against you right now

** The affiliate marketing tricks that the six figure guys use - exposed in copyable step-by-step detail

** How the "pro's" choose affiliate programs (hint: they let the competition choose them).

Yes, it's an American thing, but in the case of these new internet advertising tricks, that's actually a good thing: the yanks are the pioneers in this field.

What works in the US works everywhere.

The report is $97 and there's a 56-day money back guarantee.

I don't have any contact with the publishers, so can't give you my personal assurance about this guarantee. I don't see any reason not to trust it.

One drawback: this product is a tool to help you get more traffic and sell more stuff.

If you don't have stuff to sell, this isn't a complete business package that you can just get into from scratch. It's not like a 'business in a box'.

So if you're not already into internet marketing, then this is not for you... yet.

But worth looking out for when you get started... you can get more info here:

Oh, and if you're a more seasoned internet maverick, here's one thing to note...

The death of overture
**********************

They mention that the overture keywords selector tool is now defunct.

Yes, true. But they don't offer the best alternative, which is...

To research the most popular internet search terms (see Chapter 3, section 4) you should now go here:

Lovely. Smashing. Great.

And secondly today...

Traffic Secrets revealed
***********************

John Reese is well-known in the internet marketing world. He's behind a course called 'Traffic Secrets'.

It's all about how drive heavy traffic to your web sites. And if you've ever tried to sell a product or boost your down-line, you'll know this is essential.

You get 2 large manuals, a set of DVD's from his traffic secrets seminar, and live screen recordings of John doing his thang.

He teaches the essential stuff like "pay per click"... press releases... search engine optimization... joint ventures... and affiliates

It costs $997, so my advice is not to buy this if you're a novice. The website isn't available just now as he's updating the course - I'll let you know when it becomes available again.

Check out http://www.bizoppjungle.com for something that can help you start out buying low and selling high. Check the 'Armchair Enterprises' and 'online businesses' sections.

Okay, that's it from me

Enjoy the rest of the week. And if you can't enjoy it... make a peashooter out of an old empty biro case and squished bits of wet toilet paper.

Now fire at unsuspecting teenagers who are moping about on holiday.

You know you want to.

Later alligator,
