How this man works 1 hour a day to make $10million
Today’s Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle
‘In which Charlie passes on the story of the guy who works one hour a day to bring in $10million per year.’
Hi,
On Sunday I told you I had an inspirational story...
And that it would also depend on your point of view...
Rather than give it away, let me hand over to one of my readers who sent in this email:
“Can I say a big thanks for all the great advice you have given me over the last couple of years.
What I like is the way it's delivered, in a one of the lads down the pub sort of way... not the usual I'm so great ‘buy from me’ American crap that fills my inbox most days.
Anyway... the reason I'm writing is to share a link with you and fellow readers that I think will help with any half finished biz ops. I try and watch this every time I switch on my computer.
You see I need all the help I can get. I am officially the world’s worst procrastinator, but this gives me the kick up the ass to get started and keep going. It only takes one good idea.
If you've seen this article and video then disregard this message, but I hope you can use it to help others.’
So did you check it out?
How to make $10million from one hour’s work per week
As the article reveals, Markus Frind works one hour a day and brings in $10 million a year.
It’s all from a dating agency he set up called Plenty of Fish. Most of it runs on automated software, so his work is minimal.
And it’s not as if he’s only just reaping the rewards from lots of work he put in right at the beginning.... he bounced around from job to job at one time, and then started his dating website in his spare time.
The article says how Frind took it easy, “working no more than 20 hours a week during the busiest times and usually no more than 10. Five years later, he is running one of the largest websites on the planet and paying himself more than $5 million a year.”
Of course, if you read the comments beneath the article you can see he has his detractors. It’s amazing how jealous and angry someone like Markus can make people.
And you may not like his face, the stupid picture of him grinning gawkily from a bed of feathers OR the business he’s in.
But he doesn’t appear to be that bothered by criticism. And however boastful he is, that’s the sort of work-profit ratio that we all secretly dream of.
And it’s not really important whether you like or dislike Mr Frind, for my reader, he’s an inspiration. And I think that’s the most important thing in this game: to have something to reach towards, however impossible the goal may seem.
A piece of advice
Here’s my advice...
Find someone who’s doing what you would like to do... living the sort of life you would like to live... focus on them, and use them as a source of energy,
When things get rough, look at their story again and remind yourself of why you’re trying to change your life. Use their experience as a template for the ideal you’ve been striving towards. Read everything they’ve written, find out how they make their money, and if you’re lucky enough to get in touch with them, ask them questions.
In my time I’ve had several mentors and sources of inspiration. I never followed one business opportunity – no single idea magically changed everything for me.
With trial and error I built up my own businesses by borrowing, adapting and even copying ideas that were already there. I saw what others were doing in their online businesses and had a go myself.
I’ve failed probably as many times as I’ve succeeded. Even now I try new things that don’t work as well as I hoped.
But every time I have a setback I think about how fantastic it is to work for myself. And I think about the people who I see raking in money, having a great time and enjoying life.
That usually fixes any self-doubt!
So check out that article, and if Markus Frind is not YOUR cup of tea, try and find someone who is. If you find someone who gives you a much-needed kick up the proverbial, then they’re worth it, as the horrible L’Oreal adverts say.
Later alligator
