Here’s a secret you need to know about
Today’s Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle:
‘In which Charlie suffers from sleep deprivation, and reveals how to make regular money online, as close to AUTOPILOT as you can get, thanks to a tip from a GENUINE guru who walks the walk.’
Hi
Oh god, that was so weird.
I’ve just been staring at a blinking cursor for 5 minutes without moving a muscle...
The only thing on my screen was the word “Hi”.
I’ve no idea where my brain just went to. There were no thoughts in my head. I may as well have been dead.
I only ‘came to’ when the CD I was listening to stopped – an album by a Mexican electronic artist remixing 17th Century Baroque music (don’t ask, I am a hopeless Amazon junkie and can’t remember when or WHY I buy CDs).
The sudden silence woke me up.
I’ve been like this all week. The effects of sleep deprivation.
Our 3 month old has had an infection and has been screaming non-stop. Our 18 month old has decided to keep waking up through the night, every night. Yours truly has been locked in a battle of wills with her.
Meanwhile, I’ve been working like a maniac, helping my Omega Programme students and answering emails.
It’s rewarding, exciting stuff.... but my eyeballs are so dry and sticky from staring at a PC screen all day that I need to go and wash the dead flies and fluff from them.
Not that I’m asking for sympathy but-
“Stop moaning, Charlie, and stop being weird, and give me some information”
Okay, fair enough.
Sorry.
I’ll get on with business....
Today I want to pass on an excellent tip from Amanda O’Brien, the supreme online selling guru behind The Ultimate eBay Success System.
If you’ve not heard of this, then you can read about
here
In Amanda’s programme she has a piece of advice that I think is really worth knowing about. If you’re already on eBay, its useful, and if you’re NOT on eBay, this is a really easy and straightforward opportunity for you to earn some extra cash.
I hope she doesn’t mind me passing her secret on for free.... but Amanda runs her business with a very simple principle:
The amazing power of unbranded selling
If you want to make a proper income using eBay then Amanda insists you need to find hot products that you can source easily and at the best price. If you list them in the right way, you can generate an easy income almost on auto-pilot.
But you can’t go out and grab any old product – like an Apple iPod or a Nokia car phone kit. If you do you’re going to come up against plenty of obstacles. One of which is: competition from other sellers, the other is: restricted listing (more in a moment).
So here’s what you do...
You need to source a reliable supply of ‘unbranded’ products. These are generic items that you put on ebay without a brand name.
Amanda says: “I’m talking about MP3 players to digital cameras, beauty products to car accessories, baby clothes to pet products.”
To get hold of these things you need to email sources in China and the USA. (If you’re interested, Amanda can give you these sources – so you KNOW they’re reliable - more in a moment).
Amanda gives the example of a dog training collar.
“It is unbranded but looks extremely similar to the top selling branded product, it’s just a different shape that’s all. It does exactly the same job as the branded product. Now, imagine that you can source these dog training collars for £2.50 each and you know that the same branded product is selling on eBay for £14.99.
So, you list your dog training product at £12.99, making you a profit of £10.49 less your selling fees.”
Okay, yes, it’s true that some eBay buyers are on the hunt for cheap designers stuff and popular brands and won’t accept anything else.
But there’s a strong sub-section of eBayers looking for a bargain – and if it’s an item that does the job, they’re not bothered about big names. There’s a recession on, and people are much more willing to buy products on price alone.
Besides, someone who wants something like a dog trainer collar, using Amanda’s example, is NOT going to worry about the brand name.
“Does it help train my dog?”
“Yes”
“Is it a good price?”
“Yes.”
“It’s a deal.”
A great way to get into online selling without the usual snags
This is where an eBay newbies can sneak into the market and start making a profit. You can even give your own brand name to your hot products. It gives you a bit of exclusivity and it means you have ZERO competition.
Another benefit is that there are no listing restrictions on unbranded products. You can list as many as you like in as many different niches as you like.
If you’d like information on exactly what products you can sell like this... where to source them... how to get them... and how to list them to flog them, then check this out:
