Today's Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle:
'In which Charlie finds another great subscription website idea... and reveals 5 crazy US home business ideas that might just
work here in the UK...'
Hi,
It's madness.
The further I get into the biz opp jungle, the more ideas I see branching out before me. This place is thick with opportunities for you to make money.
I used to think it was all scams and flaky betting systems these days.
But I'm feeling quite excited and positive this year. Yes, so it may just be the medication and extensive psychological therapy, but I can see tonnes of opportunities use to serious megabucks in you spare time.
NONE of them involve stuffing envelopes...
...or getting clone websites where you do all the MLM work for some cackling exploiter in the home counties...
...and where you barely get any visitors to your site because it's one of millions of DULL DULL DULL versions of the same thing that's been plugged to death for 5 years.
...or reselling rubbish ebooks from the USA that everyone's trying to sell and that nobody's really that desperate to buy anyway.
And NONE of them are touch of a button overnight moneymakers.
Let's get real...
Home businesses don't get magicked out of thin air. You can't pay someone a few quid for an idea and expect an INSTANTLY successful business that requires no work or thought. Whatever the bullsh*t sales page says.
But, that said...

Simple, great ideas DO make
ordinary folk rich
*************************
There are lots of great ideas waiting to be found. Or even 'adapted' (er, RIPPED OFF!) by people with some cojones (er, BALLS).
For example, remember on Wednesday that I told you about the earning power of subscription websites?
(If you missed it, click here )
Well, http://www.lorryspotters.com wasn't the only great business idea I was thinking about.
In the United States, two guys called Paul Graves and Brandon Koechlin have created a US dating with a difference.
It's for people who are HIV positive.
Talk about a niche, right? This is a business that will really help its customers improve their lives, and make money for the guys who started it.
They started in 2005 and by 2006 their income was projected at $110,000.
Check it out: http://www.positivesdating.com
See the kind of money a subscription website can make? There were hundreds of dating websites in the USA, but these guys simply looked for an untapped niche.
Yes, they've gone global with it. But the UK possibly isn't well served. I don't know for sure... though it's interesting to think about, right?
And what about other niche ideas for dating and matchmaking service?
Have a think about it, and do some research online.
If you get an idea, then a subscription website could be for you.

Or, perhaps try a free website and use advertising to make your money. Or even a free e-letter with website and advertising.
It really works - go here and I explain it all on my

5 crazy ideas from the USA
***********************
To inspire you and get you thinking today, I thought I'd jot down a few crazy ideas I've found during my research.
(Yes, I do research! It's not all mad ranting!)
These are ideas you could adapt, develop, or simply use as springboards for better ideas.
1. The Million Dollar Homepage
Alex Tew, a 21-year-old, created a webpage with a 1,000,000 pixels and charged a dollar per pixel. He became a millionaire.
Okay, so then his site was attacked by hackers. But these days, in the online world, a hack-attack is the best form of flattery.
I doubt this idea can work again. But there must be another idea of this freshness and simplicity. Well, think about it, there must be an INFINITE number of ideas that could make someone a quick million.
You've just got to find it!
To see his original idea, go here:

2. SantaMail
This one is bizarre and possibly even unethical, which actually makes me like it.
This bloke called Bryon Reese got a postal address in the North Pole and pretended he was Santa. He charged parents $10 for each letter he sent to their kids. He sent over 200,000 letters between 2001 and 2007.
He's a few million dollars richer, then. Nice.

3. Doggles
I just don't know what to say about this one. Is the world insane?

4. Antenna Balls
Okay, this is getting even worse. But Jason Wall someone has made a million living in the USA selling balls that you stick on your car aerial.
Can there be an idea for the UK that would work?
Something simple, yet weirdly desirable in a novelty kind of way.

5. FitDeck
In 2005, former Navy SEAL and fitness instructor, Phil Black reported sales of $4.7 million. How? By selling a deck of cards featuring exercise routines, that's how. And he sold them only for $18.95 a pop.
Blimey.

All this are home businesses!
************************
What I like about these is that they're all businesses you could start and develop from home.
Even better, you can use a lot of the biz opp blueprints and courses I talk about on my website to make ideas like these work.
Blogs, subscription websites, e-letters, internet marketing, copywriting... they're all there for you to try out.
Have a browse through http://www.bizoppjungle.com
I'll be back on Wednesday.
Cheers
