Discover what's really inside this accelerated profits home biz offer
Today's Adventure in the Biz opp Jungle:
'In which Charlie gets a postcard from the
edge... gets a sneak peek inside the
Accelerated Income System and reveals
the letter that found 7,300,000 customers.'
Hi,
I love the fact that my Biz Opp Junglers are
always thinking of me.
This week, one regular emailed me to say:
"Just had a postcard drop through the
letterbox.... and it's not from my Aunt Gladys
on holidays in Skegness!
It's entitled: IT'S IN TIMES OF CHAOS
THAT MILLIONAIRES ARE MADE... WITH
NO MONEY DOWN ITS TIME TO GRAB A
BARGAIN!"
Aha, so it's THAT kind of postcard.
"I read it and immediately thought of you,"
said my reader.
How lovely. I'm the first person people think
about when they see something dodgy-
looking.
Why you should trash these postcards
from the edge
If you've been getting postcards like this, or
the many email versions, be very wary. I've
been getting three or four mysterious emails a
day along the lines of:
"HELP YOURSELF DURING THE
ECONOMIC CRISIS. PHONE THIS
NUMBER AND TURN THIS SITUATION
INTO A MEGA PROFIT".
Don't phone the numbers, that's my advice.
I don't like this type of fishing. I believe that if
somebody's got something valuable to offer,
they can send you the information you need,
put it up on the website, or explain in a letter
or advertisement first.
Why aren't these folks doing this?
Because they are sharking around for the
most vulnerable and desperate.
They know that more and more people are
slipping into debt, fuel poverty and
unemployment. If they can drop an alluring
hook into the water to catch these panicked
people, they know they have a good prospect
on the line.
Because there's nothing like financial fear and
worry to impair people's judgement.
Once you've caught a prospect, you can then
hard-sell them to death.
"BUY THIS! BUY! BUY!" they shout, like
they're smacking your head off the side of a
boat.
It's a lot harder to object to a sales pitch on
the phone than it is when you're reading a
letter or website. Because when you read
information you have time to think and
consider. You don't feel guilty for walking
away.
But on the phone, people can be cajoled,
bullied or threatened into parting with their
cash.
So what they want to do is spam as many
people as possible with a very short message
that says nothing, but taps into our fears
about economic crisis... then get us onto their
website where they can catch our email
addresses and start REALLY hitting us with
persuasive messages.
So what about my reader's postcard, the one
that wasn't from his Aunt Glady is Skegness?
Well, he puts it more succinctly that I could...
"The postcard is stamped Wolverhampton.
Not too far from Skegness as the pigeon flies.
Or should that be seagull as both have a habit
of pooing on you. Probably like this
company!"
Indeed.
Like I said on Wednesday, I was ill last week
so I'm on a bit of catch-up when it comes to
reviewing stuff.
But one thing doing the rounds at the moment
is this...
What's inside the 'Accelerated Income
System'?
The headline of the website reads...
"It's a 130 year-old method of making money
that's recently become available to everyday
folks around the world. Here's how you can
get in on the action from anywhere you
choose to live..."
I think the 'where you choose to live' spin on
this comes from the fact it's by the team at
International Living.
This is a famous newsletter, published by
Agora Lifestyles and based in Ireland. It
shows you how to invest in property abroad,
retire overseas, and so on and so forth.
It's actually a well respected service, one
that's been going for many years. But in terms
of this biz opp, well, it's less about investing
abroad than it is starting a basic home
business.
Not that you'd know much else from the
promotion. It doesn't go into too many
specifics.
Luckily one of my forum users has already got
the109-page manual. He says it includes the
following 9 sections.
* How to find profitable markets,
* Finding the right keywords,
* Selecting your product,
* Domain name registration and web hosting,
* Creating your website,
* Automated email response,
* Generating traffic,
* Affiliate marketing,
* Online auctions
So now you know!
What you'll get is an educational manual that
gives you an overall account of setting up an
online business.
All the above elements are crucial in any
online enterprise. So this could be great for a
beginner who hasn't dipped their toe in yet.
But from the sound of it, 109 pages doesn't
give much room for detail when you're
covering so many vast topics. For those of
you who - like me - are longer in the tooth,
you might be looking for something more
specific and focussed.
Long in the tooth... that I am alright...
sometimes I look into the mirror and see a
sabre toothed tiger staring back at me.
Raaaarrrrrghhh.
Someone who used to be even LONGER in
the tooth... before he sadly passed away...
and knew absolutely every marketing trick in
the book was a guy called Gary Halbert. This
tubby bearded fellow was a copywriting,
marketing, and sales legend from the USA.
Even though he's an entrepreneur in heaven
now, direct marketing "NEW IMPROVED
LASER HALOS" to the angels and selling
beard trimmers to the Big Man upstairs, you
can still benefit from his techniques.

You'll find great stuff like this...
The letter that found 7,300,000
customers
The late Gary Halbert writes:
"Once upon a time, I wrote a simple,
one-page letter that sold "family name
research reports" which told you about
the history of your surname and some
facts (including a drawing) of the
earliest known coat-of-arms recorded
with your surname.
Now, would you care to guess how
many cash-with-order customers I got
from that one-page letter? It's really
quite astonishing... because... I sold
those little reports to...7,300,000
different People!
So, as you can see, if you use direct
mail... and... do it right, it can really pay
off!"
Impressive stuff. And absolutely true!
Anyway, I'll leave you to investigate the great
man if you're interested. For the eager-to-
learn, there's a deep mine of great
information there to inspire you.
