Bad news, really bad news about this, so sorry, this is awful

Today’s Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle:

‘In which Charlie rebels against bad news, starts a GOOD NEWS movement, reveals ways to boost web traffic, find cheap goods the government don’t want and profit from hot-selling eBay and Amazon products.’

Hi,

It’s Monday morning, 6:30am.

On goes the radio. The bad news hits me immediately.

Israelis attack aid boat killing ten, Guatemala hit by hurricane, girl attacked by dog, marine blown up in Afghanistan...

Off goes the radio again.

I’ve almost given up on listening to the news these days. It’s relentlessly depressing. As I get older I find it harder to cope. I’m thinking of starting a live internet radio stream called:

‘Wakey Wakey Happy Joy News’

It will be a constructive, light-hearted affair for grumpy sods, pessimistic types, or those of us who have enough worries already.

This way we can get half a chance to enjoy our day. You won’t feel that desire – like I do – to buy a shotgun, drink a litre of whisky and sit in a corner of the bathroom muttering, “I’m taking EVERYONE down with me”.

On Monday morning, here would have been my alternative headlines.:

·         BONG!!!!! A welsh road sign, which was supposed to read “No entry for heavy goods vehicles” has the following Welsh translation written beneath: “I am not in the office at the moment. Send any work to be translated”.

·         BONG!!!! American scientists say they have developed a vaccine which could prevent breast cancer

·         BONG!!!! The UK’s god-awful Eurovision Contest song, performed by that talentless grinning idiot whippersnapper comes LAST in the competition!

I’m feeling better already.

The same goes for biz opps....

In the biz opp jungle it’s no different. It’s always bad news reported, rarely the good. The disgruntled are the ones who shout loudest. Which is perfectly understandable. But it doesn’t tell the story of the many people who quietly make cash from home.

You could read almost any forum and get the impression nobody ever made money from anything, ever.

And it would be easy for me to scout around looking for rubbish stuff to bash, just for the purposes of writing an alluring newsletter.

If you do just the tiniest bit of digging these days you can quickly bring up the corpses of rotten biz opps, scams and fraudulent practises. And that’s all fine and well....

But now I’m on a crusade to establish a New Constructive Attitude.

Yes, I admit it IS more fun to moan, and I’m as guilty as the next man (or woman!) but today, it’s POSITIVE POSITIVE POSITIVE.

Okay?

Then let me give you stuff that HELPS you make money

First off, let me remind you about the list building report I offered you last Wednesday. If you want to take a look at some information on how to attract customers to your website, then take a look at this:

Some very useful stuff to know. And the report costs you zilch. (Zilch meaning ‘nothing’... it’s not the new Greek currency.)

Now for the next constructive nugget....

I don’t know if you realise this, but every year billions of pounds worth of cars clothes, appliances, electronics and furniture is bought by the government for use in their various ministries and departments.

They regularly sell a lot of this stuff on... and very cheaply. Mainly because the bought too much of it, or ordered the wrong thing, or thee department has shut down...

You know... it’s the usual story.... governments and waste... no wonder we’re in the economic sh-

-       “Hold on Charlie. I thought you were being positive today?

Good point. Back to the story....

Government surplus goods may be bad news for our economy... but they’re GREAT news if you’re a home entrepreneur.

If you know where to look, you can get your mitts on these goods cheaply – and sell them on for profit.... either on eBay, on Amazon, or on your own website.

The government doesn’t usually sell their surplus to the general  public. But there are ways you can get hold of the goods.

And the big secret is....

Well, you simply ASK them. (“If you don’t ask,” they say “You don’t get!”)

Go to this page to find contact details for every government department you could ever want to contact:

Or for an even quicker, EASIER route, check this out:

www.secretsourcefinder.co.uk

Here you’ll find details of auctions, wholesalers, distributors and disposal contractors who handle government surplus.

This is a cracking opportunity to buy low and sell high. And that’s the secret of any online business opportunity: get something cheaply, or for free, and sell it for more money than it cost.

The only other sure-fire way is to CREATE something for free. But I’ll leave that for another time.

Finally, if you fancy your hand at selling items online, here are some more recommended sources for you...

Three experts reveal where to source best-selling goods

Amanda O’Brien, author of The Ultimate eBay Success system is a firm believer in going direct to wholesalers. Doing so, you can get them to drop-ship items for you, which is much easier than ordering stock off a manufacturer.

To find a wholesaler she recommends:

-       Use ‘wholesale specific’ search engines.
-       Buy trade magazines.
-       Look at active wholesale and dropship forums with searchable databases.
-       Visit trade sites with current, verified suppliers in lots of product categories

Oliver Goehler, of Auction Kommando recommends going to trade shows. These are great places for eBayers and Amazon types to pick up hot products.

To find out where these shows are happening, check out: www.exhibitions.co.uk

Mark Hempshell, author of countless fantastic biz opp books and courses over the past 15 years, recommends good old-fashioned car boot sales as a first stop for sourcing products.

Here’s a good website to visit:

Why this is such a great beginner’s opportunity

There really is no better way to get started in biz opp than to try your hand at selling products online. It doesn’t require special skills and you can get yourself online immediately by using eBay or Amazon.

You will however need two things:

-       A positive outlook – you have to go and pursue this opportunity, exploit those sources and find those bargains

-       A proven strategy that you can stick to. Don’t waste a year making mistakes and going down blind alleys, selling anything you can get your hands on. Instead, follow the experts. Take a look at this review for more:

Lots of links for you today. Hopefully something here will inspire you.

If not, go and take a look at my website. All the latest is up there, including information on home trading, betting systems and all kinds of armchair enterprises:

Hopefully I’ll be back in an equally buoyant mood this weekend!

Later alligator
