A worrying tale, plus Goehler reviewed!

Today's Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle:

'In which Charlie forgets a very worrying tale, which in
itself is very worrying, and lazily lets his forum users
review Oliver Goehler's Action Kommando.'

Hi

So on Wednesday, I finished the email with:

"I'll be back at the weekend with a worrying tale".

Now I can remember writing that sentence. And I can
even remember thinking to myself, "That's a worrying
tale, I must tell people about it."

But at this early hour on a Sunday morning, can I
remember what was so worrying?

No.

I keep piles of scrawled notes by my desk...  on the
backs of tax reminder envelopes I've got ideas scrawled
in red biro... a massive Word file on my PC fills every
day with comments, feedback and general abuse from
my Biz Opp Jungle emails... and another file is packed
with scam warnings, forum rantings and other bits 'n'
bobs.

But...

Is the worrying tale depicted on any of these things?

Nope.

So what WAS worrying my tiny mind on Wednesday?

Has Andrew Reynolds grown tentacles? Has the Forex
market been rocked by a giant squid? Has someone
actually GOT a million pounds from Joe Eboh of
Nigeria
in return "for monies", sent without any quibble?

Has the internet turned out to be an elaborate Derren
Brown hoax and we've all been staring at empty plastic
monitors for the past ten years?

I don't know.

So if anyone is clairvoyant enough to be able to tell me,
then email me at the usual address. I'll be sitting in a
wheelchair, legs draped in a tartan blanket, drooling,
staring out of my window, muttering "Worried, so
worried..."

Instead, my tale today is not worrying in the slightest...

Oliver Goehler reviewed!

I've had a few requests for info about Oliver Goehler.
And although I've not yet reviewed his latest product
myself, there's some positive feedback on the forum.

If you're not already a member of the forum, this is a
fantastic free resource that's there for you to use
(responsibly, of course).

Remember, I offer these email newsletters, plus my
website with 3 years of reviews, fraud warnings and
money making tips, AND my forum at no cost.

That's no cost, ever.

No, I'm not asking for cheers, a tickertape parade
through
London and a medal (though that would be
nice).

I just mean to say that these resources are there for you
to make good decisions, save you money, earn you
extra cash every week, and make you smile, hopefully.
So please take advantage.

While I can guide you through the jungle, there's nothing
like feedback from your peers.

In the case of Goehler's Auction Kommando the news
is good. One forum user says:

"I recently looked at Oliver's Auction Kommando and
Deals To Do DVD sets and both seemed very
informative, both on how to get the right products to sell
(and where to get them) plus tips on selling, both on
ebay and elsewhere.

It all looks to be great information and you could
probably make money from it if you apply his strategies.

As others have said, ebay is now very competitive, so
lots of testing, trial & error would probably be needed
before any meaningful profits could be made, though
anyone armed with Oliver's info would stand as good a
chance as any."

And another says....

"I've had the time to go through a good bit more of this
Auction Kommando DVD, and I am pretty impressed
with the kind of things Oliver Goehler is saying.

I like the fact that he's down-to-earth and seems to just
give the information you need. The DVD has now
covered sourcing a hot market, finding out which
products sell best within that market, sourcing suitable
products (including doing small test-runs before going in
guns-blazing), with exact website addresses for getting
hold of things, as well as listing strategies for different
types of product.

He also talks about the relative merits of going with
branded and non-branded products, and how to choose
which route to go down, as well as how to list each type
of product to attract the most attention and greatest
number of sales.

There are also a couple of worked examples showing
the course from scratch, through to finding and selling a
certain type of product, and finally there's a bit about
expanding abroad, and using software to streamline
everything once you're up and running."

So there you go. Those make up a decent review and I
didn't even have to write a word of it myself. Lazy sod
that I am.

That said, I'll put this product on my list of things to look
into in more detail at a later date.

Not such a lovely seminar

After my email on Wednesday about my personal beef
with most biz opp conferences, I got an email from a Biz
Opp Jungler who went to a Pat Adams seminar at Celtic
Manor 2 years ago.

My reader says:

"I spent £5000, and I can honestly say I have seen
absolutely nothing for it.  One of my main reasons for
going was to be in on the affiliate opportunity with "The
Key", but it transpired that to do this you had to
subscribe to the publication yourself at a cost of around
£50 (can't remember the exact figure, it may have been
more, or less - but I know that it was a lot more than I
could afford at the time...) per month."

This backs up what I said about seminars the other day.

Often, you spend money up front, but then have to buy
MORE products on the back end.

I think hard-selling products in a seminar is absolutely
fine if you offer the event for free or at cost price. But if
you want people to pay big sums up-front, then you
should supply everything else they need in connection
with that event for free.

My reader also says:

"As far as dealings with Pat went, I found him to be
totally unresponsive to emails, and the one or two that
he did reply to were so brief as to be curt.  I also had the
impression at the seminar that he was only interested in
people who had money to spend."

Anyway, that's just someone's personal experience. As
always, I'm open minded, so let me know how you've got
on with any of these items in today's email. Or go to the
forum and check out what your fellow seekers say.
