A nasty little con to watch out for
Today's Adventure in the Biz Opp Jungle:
'In which Charlie finds himself in a weird situation, shows you where to pick up a BARGAIN TV, click here, and exposes the Google Revolutionary Criminals'
Hi
My baby daughter Isis has a cold...
With a bunged nose, she finds it hard to breathe and suck her thumb at the same time.... so she keeps waking up at 3am and crying.... so my wife ends up bringing her into the bed.
After an hour of Isis kicking me in the head, I slink off to seek refuge in her bedroom.
Grumbling obscenities, I climb into a tiny pink single bed, festooned with toy rabbits, and try to sleep under a thin flowery duvet.
I've been suffering about a week of this. Without being able to sleep on my memory foam mattress, my old back problems have come back with a vengeance.
So on Wednesday, I dragged myself to Pilates to see if they could sort me out - give me a bit of a stretch. It's pretty good therapy for that kind of thing.
There were only two other people in Wednesday's session. One was an elderly lady with osteoarthritis. The other was Bobby Gillespie, lead singer of legendary dance-rock outfit, Primal Scream.
You know how people say "you should never meet your heroes"?
Well, you should definitely never meet your heroes if they're lying face down on a bench, wearing flannelly shorts, weights around their ankles, doing an exercise in which they squeeze their bum cheeks every three seconds.
Weird. And unsettling.
But there was one consolation...
"I'm getting old" I thought, "But at least my favourite rock stars are getting old along with me."
Because of my chronic back ache, I gave the Biz Opp Jungle a rest this week. The above story is therefore a very long-winded way of explaining why there was no email on Wednesday.
To make up for it, I've done a ton of updates and new reviews, but I've not put them on the site yet. I promise I'll do this as soon as possible.
Okay, I've got two things for you today - one is a nasty little con-trick as related to me by one of my regular readers. (More about this in a moment.)
First up, some clarification on last Sunday's issue...
Is this source ONLY for Biz Oppers?
On Sunday I talked about how important it was to find a product to sell BEFORE you start learning newfangled internet marketing techniques. I pointed you towards an online resource which shows you where to pick almost any kind of product at 30% - 40% discount.
This includes everything from cars, TVs, jewellery and fitness machines.... to food, iPods, and clothes... where to pick up bargains at auctions... where to get repossessed goods....and which wholesalers to get discounted bulk goods from.
In my review I said that these are items you can sell on eBay or Amazon... you can sell them on websites... market them with all those clever internet strategies you've bought... sell them in classifieds or through email newsletters.
However, I've been asked by quite a few readers whether this is purely a biz opp... or whether anyone can use it to buy one off bargains.
The answer is 'absolutely'.
This isn't just stuff you have to buy in bulk for your home business purposes. This site points you to where you can get ex-rental TVs, DVD players and hi-fi systems. You can pick up top fashion clothes at bargain prices. You can also get things like fitness machines and even deals on repossessed property.
Take a look. Click on the various categories on this site. It'll show you what's what:

The perils of the Google Revolution
One of my readers has been caught out by The Google Revolution con-artists.
They ask you to sign up for a Google 'work at home' kit for £2. Of course, they are nothing to do with Google, just preying on victims who trust the brand name.
It's alluring because it's just £2 or $2. However, whatever you pay, nothing will arrive. And that's just the beginning of your troubles...
My reader says:
"After 4 months, I finally get around to checking my credit card statements. Google Revolution have kindly signed me up to the following and taking the attached money out of my credit card every month.
Clicksellgo.com - £23.65
E-Tax hotline - £12.33
They also take out £46.63 every month under different names:
Themoneycourse.net
Searchmastercash.com
realcashnowonline.com
createamoneyonline.com
Moneyflowtoday.com
When you look in Terms and Conditions it explains that £46.63 will be taken from credit card account every month. I'm not too sure what for though. Nothing ever arrives, no emails, no product, nothing. "
If you've given these guys money, contact your credit card company or bank and tell them you're the victim of a fraud. You should get the money back. And you should get a new card so that no more money can be taken from you.
Beware work at home offers of any kind. They almost always end in tears.
